2012 was a great year for Alaska, with positive growth in the tourism sector, but 2013 promises to be even better: milestone celebrations, increased ship capacity, new flight routes and new accommodations. Perhaps it’s fitting that the Virtuoso Luxe Report noted Alaska is one of top five U.S. destinations to visit in 2013.
