Recognizing travel professionals and their efforts to sell the destination to vacationers, the TRAM program was created to offer participants the opportunity to experience Aruba first-hand, and is open to all qualified travel agents. Participants will have an opportunity to enjoy multiple nights at a variety of resorts throughout the island, including Hyatt Regency Resort & Casino, Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino & Spa, Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort and Tierra del Sol Resort & Country Club.
Rates start at $260 for a 4-night stay (two nights at a high-rise hotel and two nights at a low-rise hotel) for travel agent and companion. Complimentary roundtrip airport transfers for visiting agents and their companions are provided courtesy of De Palm Tours upon arrival and departure in Aruba. Air travel is not included.
“Travel professionals are a valuable resource and important partner in selling Aruba to travelers. We want to make sure that agents have the tools needed to do so, and experiencing all Aruba has to offer first-hand is vital,” says Geraldina Coutinho-Meyers, area director North America for the Aruba Tourism Authority. “We strive to make the TRAM program easy, affordable and enjoyable, and we hope that travel agents will continue to take advantage of this tried-and-true program.”
Meanwhile, the Aruba Tourism Authority’s website has plenty of vacation deals to offer your Aruba-bound clients. The Suite Family package available at The Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba, for instance, includes $100 food and beverage credit per day with a 4-night minimum stay. Those who book an additional resortview room will receive 50 percent off the nightly rate. This offer is valid for stays through Dec. 18. For rates and additional information, call (866) 716-8108.
Recommend couples take advantage of Aruba’s One Cool Honeymoon program, available at properties throughout the island. With this offer, honeymooners receive a bottle of champagne upon arrival, a souvenir gift and a free night upon their return anniversary visit.
