Stretching across the United States and with sister properties all over the world, Millennium Hotels & Resorts has made its mark by adhering to its motto: “You Are the Center of Our World.” A commitment to guest service and a cultural immersion in their chosen locales make this brand both convenient and pleasant for travelers.

“With 15 properties in North America, Millennium Hotels & Resorts is able to offer distinctive experiences across the country—from glaciers, wildlife and our very own floatplane dock at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage, to the Hollywood style and history at Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, to Times Square, the Broadway district and the famed Manhattan skyline at Millennium Broadway,” says Diane Sanker, v.p. of sales for North America. The company’s flagship properties are, in fact, the Millennium Broadway and The Premier Hotel, which are connected by the Hudson Theater and “all just steps away from Times Square, the Theater District and all that New York City has to offer,” adds Sanker.

Millennium, Copthorne Hotels, Kingsgate Hotels and Resorts and the new, more high-end Grand Millennium Hotels all form part of parent company Millennium Hotels & Resorts. Each hotel soaks in its surroundings and develops its own regional character while holding on to the Millennium essence. The Millennium Maxwell House Nashville, for instance, is very much a Southern-soaked, music-inspired hotel with unique art pieces and music memorabilia. It’s close to the Country Music Hall of Fame and offers shuttle service to many of the city’s attractions.

Then there’s the Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage, along the eastern shore of Lake Spenard. This cozy retreat allows guests to enjoy the state’s natural beauty while offering all types of conveniences for business and leisure travelers. The hotel has its own floatplane dock should clients want to experience Prince William Sound, Mt. McKinley or Chugach Mountains from above, and can help set up fishing expeditions and visits to places of interest. This property is offering a Dollars for Degrees Deal through February; guests will get $1 off for each degree the temperature drops below freezing during their stay (with a $30 cap; use code DOLLARS).

The Millennium Bostonian Hotel in historic downtown Boston, meanwhile, has just wrapped up a $25 million renovation. “The opening of North 26 Restaurant and Bar, a progressive New England dining concept, caps off the hotel’s transformation, which has brought high-quality and stylish additions to all guestrooms and public areas,” says Sanker. The hotel overlooks Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market so guests can just skip over for a day of shopping, noshing and relaxing. Sports fans can take advantage of the Bostonian Bruins packages through April 11 (valid only on home game nights): the Bostonian Bruins Loge offer includes superior plus accommodations, two Loge seats within 20 rows from the glass at a game and two $25 breakfast vouchers, while the Boston Bruins Balcony provides two Balcony seats, 1-2 sections off center. Rates for these packages start at $359 per night.

In California, clients have the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, a grandiose property fit for dignitaries and Hollywood royalty. The hotel is more than 85 years old—it actually hosted a few Academy Award ceremonies during the 1930s and 40s—and is known for its ornate ballrooms, ideal for large weddings and special events. The Millennium Biltmore has the added convenience of being right in downtown Los Angeles, where a recent renaissance has brought about the $30 million Grammy Museum and a wealth of dining, shopping and entertainment options.

Other Millennium properties are located in Durham, St. Louis, Chicago, Boulder, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Cincinnati and Scottsdale. Outside of the U.S., travelers can find Millennium and Copthorne properties across Europe and Asia. Kingsgate Hotels are located throughout New Zealand and in Abu Dhabi, while Grand Millennium properties are found in Dubai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.

agent love
Millennium has a We Love Agents Rewards program that recognizes agent loyalty with perks such as FAM rates, $50 electronic gift certificates, commissions paid twice monthly even when you book through their website, and quick access to tools that can help increase your business. This month the company is launching the Millennium’s Agent Challenge: design the new Muriel Millennium cow mascot by creating a look that is representative of any of the brand’s properties in the U.S and, should your design win, you are rewarded with a trip to any Millennium property in the world.
