Extraordinary Journeys Africa and Tropic Air are partnering to give travelers a tour of Ethiopia by air with an 8-day helicopter experience.

Travelers start their journey in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, taking in landscapes of the Blue Nile Gorge and the UNESCO World Heritage site Lalibela, where guests will experience a flight into one of the world’s deepest canyons. Then it’s off on a game drive through the Simien Mountains. Throughout the remainder of the trip travelers will experience Northern Ethiopia and the Danakil Depression, with its acid lakes, salt pans and active volcanoes.

On the trip, accommodations will be split with two nights at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa; a night at the Mountain View Hotel in Lalibella; and four nights at Gheralta Lodge in Tigray.

All-inclusive rates are $136,550 for two people or $142,000 for four people, excluding international flights. When travelers book by Dec. 15, they can save $5,000 off of the trip cost. For more information, visit ejafrica.com.
