written by | Posted on March 2nd, 2011

A new tour will have travelers zipping above the treetops in Skagway, Alaska, this summer as Alaska Excursions will introduce the Mammoth Waterfalls and Ultra Zipline Adventure.

Opening May 6, this 4-hour adventure includes a narrated drive to the historic town of Dyea where participants will be able to complete 12 ziplines up to 750 ft. long and traverse four adventure sky bridges overlooking various waterfalls and the forest floor.

Alaska Excursions also offers dog sled rides through the backcountry and horseback adventures through the DyeaValley, which features the remains of what was once a city of 10,000 gold stampeders.
