Luxury safari tour operator Africa Odyssey has unveiled a new website to help agents book safaris for their clients. Agents can log onto africaodyssey.com from their desktop computer, tablet or smart phone to view the site and its more than 2,500 images of parks, areas, maps and luxury lodges in Africa. The new website also features the option to search for safaris, activities, and accommodations by country or category (e.g. family, honeymoon, holiday).

For example, an agent researching and planning a safari in Tanzania could search under the “Serengeti” tab on the website, where they’ll receive background information on the Serengeti, the Great Migration, and the Serengeti National Park wildlife reserve, in addition to having the ability to view a map of the area, other parks in the area and lodging options. Clicking on a lodge, such as Kleins Camp, brings users to a page with additional details on the property, including pricing, amenities and ratings, plus a map of its location and any current promotions being offered. For instance, Kleins Camp, starting at $1,183, is currently offering 20 percent off discount for guests staying six nights or longer and 50 percent off for brides. If agents need to step away from their device before booking, Africa Odyssey will store the lodges they’ve viewed under the “My Odyssey” section.
