Scenic Cruises unveiled plans for its latest luxury river cruise ship, the Scenic Spirit, which launches January 2016 on the Mekong River.

The 68-passenger Scenic Spirit sails 8-day itineraries between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap, as well as 27-day itineraries that combine both land and cruise explorations from Hanoi to the Laos city of Luang Prabang. The ship’s 34 suites all have a balcony, and the 1-bedroom suites—ranging in size from the 350-sq.-ft. Deluxe Suite with a Scenic Sun Lounge to the 865-sq.-ft. Royal Panorama Suite, the largest suite on any river cruise ship—offer a separate bedroom and living room. The Royal Panorama Suite offers four separate areas—a bathroom with an extra large tub, rainfall shower, and walk-in dressing room; a bedroom; a living room and an outdoor forward-facing deck with a daybed, jacuzzi and an outdoor dining table. The Scenic Spirit also features four dining venues, a resort-style pool deck and bar, a full spa with a sauna and steam room, a bar and lounge, and a Sun Deck with an open-air cinema. All guests receive butler service, and laundry service is also available on board. As with all Scenic river cruises, rates are all-inclusive including all meals, beverages and daily mini-bar replenishment; all excursions such as the Scenic FreeChoice activities that allow guests to personalize their experience, and Scenic Enrich special events; WiFi; airport transfers and all gratuities.
