Jalousie Plantation Renamed Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort

After three years, The Jalousie Plantation has completed its multi-million dollar transformation and will be renamed Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort on Nov. 30.

The property, located on the Eastern Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, added 59 new luxury villas, eight beachfront bungalows, a new lobby and reception area, and a contemporary designed swimming pool. It also features new restaurants and bars; 11 revamped luxury Sugar Mill rooms; and the Rainforest Spa, which offers locally inspired signature treatments, since the resort is set within more than 100 acres of the rainforest.

“With this completion, it makes perfect sense for The Jalousie Plantation to be officially branded and named Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, capitalizing on the excellent reputation of the Viceroy Hotel Group within the luxury hotel market and bolstering the group’s efforts to focus on the expansion of the Viceroy brand,” says Jalousie’s owner, Roger Myers.

Winter season rates start at $640 per night dbl, excluding VAT and service charge. For more information, visit viceroyhotelsandresorts.com/sugarbeach.
