Delta Air Lines and Austrian Airlines are increasing their international services by offering new nonstop flights between Europe and North America.

Delta Air Lines is adding four new nonstop flights between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Tel Aviv beginning May 26, 2016, for a total of 11 weekly flights between the two cities. The year-round service will operate aboard the 291-seat Boeing 777-200ER. The new flights depart New York at 4 p.m. and arrive in Tel Aviv at 9:50 a.m. the next day. The return service flies out of Tel Aviv at 11:50 a.m. and returns to New York at 4:50 p.m. Onboard amenities include full flat-bed seats, regionally inspired dining options in the Delta One cabin, and up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline in the Delta Comfort+ seats. All passengers have access to complimentary WiFi and on-demand, in-flight entertainment.

In addition to its Tel Aviv flights, Delta will begin nonstop flights from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on May 12, 2016. The new weekly flight, aboard the 164-seat Boeing 757-200ER aircraft, will depart from North Carolina at 6:13 p.m. and arrive in Paris at 8:35 a.m. the next day. The return service flies out of Paris at 10:45 a.m. and arrives in North Carolina at 1:57 p.m. The new service is a joint venture with Air France, KLM and Alitalia. Furthermore, Delta plans to operate additional Transatlantic flights from its Midwest hubs in summer 2016. Daily service out of Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) to Rome, also in conjunction with Air France, KLM and Alitalia, is scheduled to start May 26, 2016. Additional routes include service from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) to Munich; John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Edinburgh; and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to London. Service to Rome departs Minneapolis at 5:25 p.m. and arrives at 10 a.m. the next day. Austrian Airlines, a member of the Lufthansa Group, is also preparing to operate a new Transatlantic service between Europe and North America beginning next Friday, Oct. 16. The airline’s new nonstop flights from Vienna (Vienna International Airport; VIE) to Miami (Miami International Airport; MIA) will be offered throughout the year on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays aboard the Boeing 777, which seats 48 Business Class passengers and 260 Economy Class passengers. The new flights arrive in Miami at 3:20 p.m. and depart at 5:10 p.m. Austrian Airlines currently operates out of the John F.
