G Adventures Adds Eight New ‘Comfort’ Trips

G Adventures has added eight new trips to its 2015 Comfort brochure, including trips to Belize, Central and Eastern Europe, East Africa, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Patagonia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

New itineraries include the 10-day Treasures of Nepal trip, which explores old Kathmandu and Bhaktapur city with an expert local guide, takes guests to lunch at Sisterhood of Survivors (a project of Planetterra, G Adventures’ non-profit organization) where travelers learn to cook with women who are survivors of human trafficking, visits a Monastery guesthouse where travelers are immersed in Buddhist culture, and goes searching for tigers in Chitwan National Park. Rates start at $1,699 pp with year-round departures. The 10-day Belize Explorer visits the Mayan ruins of Lamanai, takes guests to taste hot sauce at Marie Sharp’s factory, and visits a coastal village and Caye Caulker. Rates start at $1,699 pp with departures from March to November. The 14-day Treasures of Sri Lanka takes travelers to explore the destination’s ruins and archaeological sites with local experts, to taste local flavors during a village meal, teaches guests about the colonial history at a tea plantation, and takes guests on safari where they can view elephants. Rates start at $2,399 with departures year-round.
