The Epiphany Hotel
The Epiphany Hotel in Palo Alto, CA.

Big name brands are debuting new hotels in booming locations from California to China, offering a bevy of options for your clients to choose from.

Joie de Vivre Hotels is debuting an 8-story luxury boutique hotel, The Epiphany Hotel, in Palo Alto, CA, early this year in Silicon Valley.

“The Epiphany Hotel is tapped into Silicon Valley, inspired by the local streets and neighboring start-up businesses,” says Niki Leondakis, CEO of Commune Hotels & Resorts, Joie de Vivre’s parent company. “A playful, authentic property full of imagination and aligned with the local lifestyle, The Epiphany is poised to be an emblem of the Joie de Vivre ethos.”

The 86-room hotel includes four rooftop hospitality suites with views of Stanford University’s Hoover Tower, the Santa Cruz mountains and Los Gatos, with floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized terraces. Guestrooms will offer complimentary high-speed Internet, honor bar and dry bar, an Illy espresso maker, Frette linens, Turkish towels and robes and Malin + Goetz toiletries.

In addition, guests can find an indoor-outdoor restaurant open all day. Rates start at $349 per night Sunday through Thursday, and $199 for Friday and Saturday. The hotel is accepting reservations for stays beginning March 1. For more information, visit jdvhotels.com.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has a few properties on the horizon for 2014, opening in Moscow, Johannesburg and Dubai.

Set in a replica of the Hotel Moskva, the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow, opening mid-2014, is located on Manezhnaya Square next to Red Square and will feature 175 rooms, including 36 suites. Guests can expect views of the Kremlin’s domes, two restaurants, a tea lounge, bar, indoor poolside cafe, and spa with 14 treatment rooms and a pool. The location also places travelers near the shopping district, the Duma, and the Bolshoi and Maly theaters.

When Four Seasons Hotel Westcliff Johannesburg opens mid-year, it will offer 114 rooms and suites with views overlooking the Johannesburg Zoo. Designed in a style resembling a “hillside Mediterranean village,” guests can find courtyards, fountains and gardens on site, as well as two new restaurants and a bar, offering local cuisine and South African wines, and a new spa with six treatment rooms, a lap pool and relaxation deck, and a fitness center.

Set away from the city’s other resorts on Jumeirah Beach near the Central business district, the 220-room Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is set to open late-2014. The hotel will feature three restaurants, poolside dining, a spa with indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and tennis courts, and a private beach club.
