From Stockholm to Tuscany, make sure you’re up to date when planning your client’s next vacation abroad with the latest hotel openings and renovations around Europe.
Sweden Stockholm’s Hotel J, a member of Design Hotels, recently completed several property enhancements, including 113 new guestrooms, a gym and The Club House restaurant.
Located adjacent to the original Hotel J, the property’s new Red Brick House houses the new guestrooms, each decorated with the same “American New England” theme found throughout the rest of the hotel. Guestrooms offer stunning views of the coast, while rooms on the top floor boast private terraces overlooking the water.
Another highlight of the renovations is The Club House, an a la carte restaurant led by chef Stefano Catenacci who has worked for the royal Swedish family. The restaurant offers an array of fresh seafood dishes such as soft shell crab and red snapper saltimbocca, as well as delicious desserts like black licorice whoopie pie. The Club House also features a lounge and bar, and will open an outdoor terrace that overlooks Stockholm’s scenic harbor next summer.
Nightly rates start at around $200. For more information, visit designhotels.com.
