We’ve rounded up a few hotels and one tour operator offering you more than the standard 10 percent commission on your bookings.

  • Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel
    Agents can earn up to 15 percent commission at the new Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel in Thailand. The 26-story hotel features an open plan design, interconnecting communal spaces—reception, lounge and restaurant spaces—to blend business with pleasure.   • Buddha-Bar Hotel Paris
    While standard room and Studio Suite bookings fetch agents the standard 10 percent commission at this five-star, 56-guestroom boutique hotel in the heart of the ultra-chic Faubourg Saint-Honore Street area, agents who up-sell to a Prestige Suite or Historic Suite receive 15 percent commission on the GDS system under chain code PH. The spacious Prestige Suite ranges from 646 to 700 sq. ft. and features complimentary amenities such as a welcome bottle of Champagne, a cocktail welcome at the lounge bar Le Qu4tre, and a pillow menu. Meanwhile, the 710-sq.-ft.     We first reported on Iberostar Hotels & Resorts making its U.S. debut with the new Iberostar 70 Park Avenue in New York and Iberostar Berkeley in Miami back in August. Now we’re back to let you know that agents can earn up to 15 percent commission on group bookings at Iberostar 70 Park Avenue made by Dec. 23, 2016 for travel Jan. 1 to March 15, 2017. Located in the heart of Manhattan, Iberostar 70 Park Avenue features 205 guestrooms and a variety of food and beverage options located on the ground floor such as Silverleaf Coffee & Tea and Silverleaf Tavern, a chic baroque-inspired lounge.   • Marantha Tours:
    In order to qualify for Marantha Tours’ 15 percent commission offer, agents must complete a faith-based travel agent agreement form online. Then, you will be able to earn 15 percent of the retail cost (excluding tips and taxes) for signing up passengers on a Christian tour. Plus, you’ll receive one complimentary trip for every 10 paying passengers. Guests can choose from fixed departure or co-hosted tours, including cruises, which depart monthly and visit a variety of countries, including Israel, Greece, Italy, Turkey, and Egypt.   • The Palms Hotel & Spa:
    Now through the end of November, travel agents can receive 15 commission on group bookings valued at $20,000 or more at The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach. Think wedding parties, family reunions and leisure groups. The oceanfront, South Beach chic hotel features 251 rooms; the Essensia Restaurant, serving natural gourmet dishes; and the 5,000-sq.-ft. Palms Spa – Aveda, featuring five multi-purpose treatment rooms including a luxurious couples suite, a hydrotherapy room, an indoor/outdoor relaxation area with steam room, poolside Tiki cabanas for outdoor treatments, and a fitness room.
