London’s busy Regent Street will be all the more active come Dec. 1, when Cafe Royal returns as an iconic city landmark hotel. The property, part of the Leading Hotels of the World collection, has been a favorite locale of various creative talents over the past 150 years, including Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf, Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill, Mick Jagger and Muhammad Ali.

After the upcoming winter reopening—following a nearly 4-year redevelopment and restoration period—clients staying through March 2013 will enjoy celebratory perks including a bottle of chilled Moet & Chandon champagne in their room upon arrival, guaranteed late check-out at 4 p.m. and a Regent Street V.I.P. membership card, providing discounts and deals at a selection of luxury Regent Street shops. In addition, those clients staying in Junior and Deluxe Suites will also enjoy dinner for two with a bottle of wine.

As an added bonus, agents who book a minimum of five nights will be entered into a prize drawing for a 2-night stay featuring suite accommodations and daily breakfast. Three prizes will be awarded.

Cafe Royal features 159 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, with amenities ranging from Egyptian cotton bed linens and oversized towels to personal laptops, Internet service and personal butler service. Other on-property features include five restaurants and bars and the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre.

Rates start at $420 per night. For more information, visit hotelcaferoyal.com.
