Melia Vienna

When Vienna’s new skyscraper, the Donau-City (DC) Tower, opens this month, it will house Melia Vienna, the first Melia Hotels International property to open in Austria.

Overlooking the Danube River, the DC Tower will be Austria’s tallest skyscraper, designed by the Parisian architect Dominique Perrault. The 253-room hotel will span 17 of the tower’s 58 floors, with a presidential suite on the 14th floor, featuring 180-degree views of Vienna, a bathroom with sauna, infinity bathtub, and double rain shower. The hotel will also feature 57 Restaurant & Lounge, serving Mediterranean and international cuisine, with a 360-degree panoramic view of Vienna.

“We want Melia Vienna to become an exciting point of attraction for both visitors and locals of Vienna, offering unique design, excellent service and a taste of the Mediterranean lifestyle,” says general manager Dorothea Schuster.

Rates start at $135 per night, including breakfast. Rates for the presidential suite start at $4,747 per night. For more information, visit melia.com/travelagents.
