In the French hotspot of Cannes and just along the French Riviera, Hotel Martinez has opened the doors to L. Raphael Beauty Spa. The spa offers nine treatment rooms, two saunas, a beauty salon and a 24-hour gym, for a combined total of 3,000 sq. ft.

Services here include facials, massages and signature treatments that focus on enhancing beauty, eliminating and preventing the effects of aging, and providing slimming and detoxifying treatments. For a truly indulgent experience, guests can enjoy the L. Raphael Beauty Cruise, a 3-, 4- or 7-day spa retreat that incorporates nutritional, physical and medical assessments before planning an individualized series of treatments.

Coming in December, The Alpina Gstaad will be the first hotel & spa to open in the Swiss village of Gstaad in over 100 years, and the property has chosen to feature Six Senses Spas as its health and wellness refuge.

And what a refuge it will be, with 21,500 sq. ft. of curved walls and flowing spaces, featuring 12 treatment rooms, dedicated Salt and Color Therapy rooms, shower pressure therapy devices and all of the other creature comforts spas are known for. Children will also be welcome at the dedicated children’s area; an 85-ft. indoor infinity pool will also offer lap lanes, while an outdoor garden pool will feature 360-degree views; and also outdoors, hiking, biking and skiing will all be available for guests to pursue their fitness goals.

Products that Spoil Your Senses
The newest amenity at Key West, Florida’s Sunset Key Guest Cottages is the beachside Spa Cabana, where guests can now exercise four of their five senses with the sound of the waves, the scent of the sea, the sight of the shoreline and, of course, the feel of an indulgent massage.

The Spa Cabana is a tiki-style, open-walled area, with grass-thatched hut and floor-to-ceiling canvas curtains that can be pulled closed for privacy. Just above the sand on a wooden platform is a massage table, where guests can enjoy their choice of a Swedish, aromatherapy or therapeutic massage.

To celebrate the new cabana, Sunset Key Guest Cottages is offering a Sunset Romance package, where one couple per evening can enjoy an 80-minute couple’s massage, a bottle of champagne, dinner for two and a personal attendant. The Sunset Romance package starts at $1,200 per couple.

Farther from home in the UAE, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara has recently begun a partnership that will add Shiffa Dubai beauty products to The Anantara Spa’s menu.

Shiffa Dubai products use pure oils and ingredients including Iranian rose, Egyptian jasmine and Lebanese orange blossom to create natural beauty aides. These products are used in treatments such as the Shiffa Rose Bliss Balm Body Massage ($133 for 60 minutes or $160 for 90 minutes).

The Anantara Spa at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara features four double treatment rooms, two standard treatment rooms, and a hammam with one sauna, two jacuzzis and two steam rooms.
