Il Frantoio is a less grand masseria, more like a five-star agriturismo, if you will, and known for its relaxed hospitality. Eight rooms, named after flowers and delightfully refurbished, occupy the 19th century part of the masseria, sitting in the middle of a vast olive grove. Double room with breakfast from $140. Dining is a series of dishes based rigorously on the products of the farm and on local food traditions. Mountain bikes are available, and the sea is 10 minutes away. On the Ostuni road, this is a first-rate location for exploring the trulli region.
