One of the many incredible sights your clients will see along the Easy Pace Russia itinerary.

Since 1978, Insight Vacations has been providing travelers with thoughtfully planned tourism itineraries, starting from the company’s home base in London, and growing to now operate worldwide. With destinations throughout Britian, Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, the Eastern Mediterranean and North America—plus 12 additional specialists in locations throughout South America and Asia—Insight Vacations now claims a strong hold on worldwide travel.

But further than that, it promises to help travelers “rediscover the golden age of travel,” when small groups enjoyed “carefully planned, stylish itineraries; quality hotels in convenient locations; and informed knowledge of their destinations.”

Of the numerous itineraries the operator provides—we stopped counting at 100—clients will find itineraries both relaxed and challenging. Of the European destinations, here are a few of our favorites:

Easy Pace Russia
This 8-day tour will take your clients along a leisurely route through Russia, visiting the country’s two most famous cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg. Sites to be seen in Moscow will include a visit to St. Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square, as well as one of the cathedrals inside the walls of the Kremlin; while in St. Petersburg they’ll visit the Winter Palace, the Hermitage Museum, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the fortress of St. Peter and Paul. And not to be forgotten is a visit to the gardens and fountains of Peter the Great’s Summer Palace.

During their tour, guests will stay at the Hotel Crowne Plaza, St. Petersburg, near Moskovskivy railway station, and the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya, one of the seven famous “Stalin” towers located near the Garden Ring and Leningradskiv railway station.

Rates start at $2,450 pp dbl. For more information, visit insightvacations.com/easy-pace-russia-2012.

Playgrounds of Europe
The 11-day Playgrounds of Europe tour is nothing short of luxurious. Guests will travel by plane, train, bus and boat, staying in luxury hotels including Hotel San Clemente, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, and Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. But it’s not the traveling or the relaxation that puts this tour over the top—it’s the itinerary itself.

A visit to the town of Como will have travelers weaving in and out of resort villages and the villas within. In Venice, they’ll see St. Mark’s Basilica and the Bridge of Sighs, as well as experience a gondola tour of the city—complete with gondolier serenade. A tasting of the local flavors plus a trip through a Chianti vineyard will occupy their time in Tuscany, and a cruise along the Ligurian coast will drop your clients off in Portofino. All of that, not to mention visits to the can’t-miss cities of Florence, Pisa, Milan and Monaco.

Rates start at $5,099 pp dbl. For more information, visit insightvacations.com/playgrounds-of-europe-2012.

Country Roads of France
The longest of the three tours listed here, the Country Roads of France itinerary requires 16 days to explore up to 18 cities and regions. Highlights include a wine tutorial and tasting in Chablis, a cable-car excursion to Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, a visit to the old Papal Palace and the famous bridge of Avignon, as well as the Roman Amphitheatre in Arles, and a tour through the medieval clifftop town of Rocamadour. The itinerary ends in Paris, as travelers enjoy a relaxing train ride into the city before visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, the Arc di Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Napoleon’s tomb.
