Hawks Cay Resort, a 60-acre property located in The Florida Keys, is undergoing a renovation aimed at enhancing the overall look and feel of the resort after sustaining damage from Hurricane Irma.

The resort is currently closed, but will reopen in phases throughout 2018 with its waterfront restaurant, Angler & Ale, as well as its Calm Waters Spa already set to reopen early next year. Hawks Cay Resort is also scheduled to welcome guests with a soft opening in the second quarter of 2018. A grand reopening is expected to follow before the end of summer.

The renovations will include a complete redesign of the main lobby and all 177 guestrooms, plus the introduction of a new signature restaurant and a fast-casual family-style eatery.

Although renovations were not originally planned for this time, Sheldon Suga, v.p. managing director of the property, said in press materials that the resort is “going to take this opportunity to create an even better version of Hawks Cay Resort that our guests can enjoy.”
