American Airlines announced it has signed a codeshare agreement with Mexico City-based airline, Interjet.
The agreement with Interjet will add service to five destinations within Mexico—Huatulco, Villahermosa, Merida, Tuxtla Gutierrez, and Oaxaca.
In recent years, Interjet has grown to operate more than 1,800 weekly flights to 38 cities throughout Mexico, as well as in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. The new agreement will allow AAdvantage members to earn miles on codeshared flights operated by Interjet. For more information, visit aa.com.
