Hotel Matilda is highlighting Mexico’s top artists by bringing back the San Miguel ART (SMART) festival for the second year.
The festival, which takes place May 31-June 2, will feature exhibits showcasing contemporary artists at locations around the city, including Hotel Matilda, in addition to a tequila tasting, a hot air balloon ride and a world-class DJ night. The 32-room hotel features Mexican influences, from the textured wood and rugs to the cuisine at restaurant Moxi with its farm-to-table local ingredients. Meanwhile, the spa incorporates both global and local touches with its treatments, Turkish hammam, and indoor and outdoor relaxation lounge.
