Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) just announced new leadership to its Liberty Travel and GOGO Vacations brands. Beginning Jan. 1, 2016, Randy Alleyne, the current president of GOGO Vacations, will become the president of Liberty Travel, while John Vandenheuvel will take over as the president of GOGO Vacations—a position currently held by Emma Jupp, who will become the new e.v.p. of product for the Americas. Alleyne joined the Flight Centre team in January 2013 as the v.p. of GOGO Vacations, and previously held senior leadership roles in major companies including Circuit City and Walmart. In April 2014, Alleyne received a promotion to president of the brand. His work with the company, including the introduction of GOGO Español, is said to have “strengthened the GOGO brand, accelerated the growth of GO Groups and supported the growth of Worldwide Traveler.”

Vandenheuvel has also served in other divisions within FCTG, such as Stage & Screen and Corporate Traveler, where he launched the brand in New York. In addition to its changes in management, Flight Centre Travel Group is also implementing a series of technological improvements as well as a “significant, momentous transformation designed to greatly increase the customer experience and improve the sales process for all of our consultants,” according to Dean Smith, president of FCTG, the Americas.
