Signature rituals here include the Qetzacoatl, a relaxing treatment that uses coffee, chocolate and tea, and the Sitio Sagrado, a body massage with quartz and hot stones that restores one’s emotional and spiritual balance. For couples, there’s the Eternal Love Ceremony, which comes with a tandem massage and live Egyptian harp music.

four seasons hotel mexico, df This elegant hotel is already a landmark in Mexico City, with an enviable spot right on Paseo de la Reforma. Its well-tended gardens, courtyard fountain and luxurious service make for an almost cocoon-like hospitality experience in the heart of the capital city. Rooms and suites are decked out in the latest of luxury amenities, from DVD and CD players to turndown service.
The Spa: The Four Seasons Hotel Mexico, DF has a small operation with only three treatment rooms, but really takes guests away from the hubbub of the city. The treatment menu provides a great mix of both traditional and nouvelle options. There’s theCocoluscious Ultra-Nutritious facial, for instance, which uses enzymes and exfoliation followed by coconut and grapefruit masks. The Tomato Lycopene Anti-Ageing treatment leaves skin feeling much younger through the use of lycopene, an antioxidant that refines skin and minimizes blemishes, and odorless garlic to firm and lift it. There’s also the Cucumber Soothing Facial with menthol and ginkgo biloba to stimulate cells, detoxify pores and oxygenate the skin.
The massages are also incredible. The Aromavedic, for example, uses a mix of essential oils along with Hindu techniques to provide balance to body and soul. The hotel has also borrowed from another Four Seasons property in Mexico to offer the Punta Mita, which uses tequila, sage oil and Mexican healing techniques in a massage.
