Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos is debuting its new Whale Safari Experience in February 2016. Each winter the “Big Three”—gray whales, blue whales and humpback whales—migrate to Baja California Sur to convene for one month out of the entire year. Guests can spot the three whale species on this 2-day, luxury safari in the southern half of the Baja California Peninsula.

On the first day, guests receive a private jet transfer to Loreto, a city in Baja California, before taking a helicopter ride to San Ignacio, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, guests can view gray whales in their last remaining breeding ground. Later, guests take another helicopter ride back to Loreto for a romantic picnic at Honeymoon Cove before ending the day with a blue whale boat tour. The second day continues with a morning boat ride at the Marina in Cabo San Lucas, where guests can watch humpback whales perform water acrobatics. Rates start at $21,500 for groups of four. Room rates start at $1,075 per night. For more information, visit rosewoodhotels.com/en/las-ventanas-los-cabos.
