Last month, the Celebrity Millennium emerged from dry dock sporting a refreshed look and a new lineup of enhancements. Guests sailing on the 2,138-passenger Celebrity Millennium in Alaska this summer will be among the first to enjoy the vessel’s new onboard venues and experiences, including the rooftop terrace on the ship’s 12th deck. Complete with a large screen, chaise longues, cabanas, and decorative lighting, this new space will host Celebrity Cruises’ new multisensory experience, A Taste of Film, which pairs films that evoke a specific cultural, culinary or destination experience with cuisine that brings the scenes on the screen to life. Additionally, Celebrity Millennium’s Olympic restaurant has been converted to the Tuscan Grille, Celebrity’s popular, Italian-inspired steakhouse, featuring a refreshed menu including pasta made in-house, an Italian cocktail menu, and a wine list focused on the wine-growing regions of Italy. As part of the $8 million refresh plan, Celebrity has also invested heavily in its Suite Class experience on the Celebrity Millennium. Now every Penthouse and Royal Suite features new fixtures, marble surfaces, and comfortable seats in the bathrooms, plus new carpeting, drapes, and bed linens in the rest of the suite.
