mountain interconnect adventure For the ultimate hard-core skiing experience, tell clients that nothing beats the Ski Utah Interconnect Tour, in which participants ski six world-class mountains and their contiguous backcountry area in one day. This adventure, available to advanced skiers in good physical condition, offers the opportunity to ski under the boundary ropes bordering the main mountains in a safe, exciting and special backcountry adventure. Skiers will go from Deer Valley Resort or Snowbird Ski Area through Park City Mountain, Solitude, Brighton and Alta—all in one day! This tour gives the advanced to expert skier the experience of a lifetime, skiing through magnificent and beautiful backcountry terrain of the Wasatch Mountain Range.
Tours operate seven days a week, weather and condition permitting. Due to the nature of the tour, snowboarding is not permitted. Interconnect Adventure tour guides are trained in snow safety and backcountry technique. The tour is $250 pp and includes guide service, lunch, lift access, transportation back to point of origin and a finisher’s pin to commemorate the adventure and award participants for their endurance. NOTE OF CAUTION: this adventure is not designed for the timid. The trip requires some walking, traversing, and the ability to ski in highly varied snow conditions. Maximum group size is limited to 12 skiers and the minimum age is 16. Group participants learn about avalanche safety, backcountry etiquette and are each fitted with an avalanche transceiver. Clients will experience the thrill of ducking under the boundary ropes where others are prohibited and glide off the backside of the various resorts in pristine, untouched powder on long backcountry descents to the respective bases of the various mountains.
