At Stock Island Marina Village in Key West, Florida, a $38 million new build beauty is prepping for its winter 2017 opening. With design elements inspired by the area’s long-standing industrial heritage of the working boatyards and saltwater fishing businesses, the 100-room Hotel Key West is a little slice of old Key West, balancing modern design and amenities with the craft of a bygone era. Property amenities will include a lush outdoor pool area with an adjacent bar and grill overlooking the marina and a full-service restaurant with patio seating and a “boat-to-table” menu featuring local daily caught seafood and farm-fresh regional ingredients.

Every guestroom at Hotel Key West will offer water views and an over-sized private terrace, while the suites feature soaking tubs and balconies. If that weren’t luxurious enough, there will also be a selection of hammocks, lounge chairs and private cabanas overlooking the marina available to guests.

Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location between the mangroves lining Shrimp Road and the new state of the art 220-slip Stock Island marina, within the Stock Island Marina Village complex—home to shops, a community garden, restaurants, a dog park and the largest deep water marina in the Florida Keys—Hotel Key West will offer guests eco tours via paddleboard, kayak or boat, as well as fishing, diving day trips, and an array of excursions that will explore the local culture of Key West.
