Ink48 is launching a property-wide scavenger hunt on March 30 to encourage guests to explore the Kimpton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan and promote the “New York Said” photo series. Five prints from the series featuring the work of NYC-based creative director and photographer Amon Focus will be hidden around the hotel for guests to find. To play, guests must locate the five prints, take pictures of them as proof of finding them and post at least one of their favorite prints on Twitter using the @Kimpton and @NewYorkSaid handles, or on Instagram using @KimptonNYC and @NewYorkSaid. If guests can prove to the front desk concierges that they found all five prints and made at least one of the necessary social media posts, they win a “New York Said” print to take home. Focus’ “New York Said” photo series aims to shed light on the unheard voices of New York with subtle messages such as “Dream,” and “Be Who You Are.”
