It’s good to be a kid at the Keystone Resort in Colorado, where children ages 12 and younger have the opportunity to ski for free with no blackout dates for the duration of the winter season, including weekends and holidays. To qualify, guests must stay two or more nights in one of Keystone’s accommodation options, which span from luxury hotel rooms to ski-in, ski-out condos. As an added value, Keystone also offers complimentary season-long Kidtopia programming such as daily 4 p.m. cookie time, scavenger hunts, old-fashioned snow tubing, the Saturday Ripperoo Parade and a Kidtopia fireworks display.

While the kids are out and about, Mom and Dad can sneak in some alone time at Keystone Spa and indulge in a Couples Massage or experience a romantic meal at one of the resort’s signature restaurants, including The Bighorn Bistro & Bar, offering seasonally inspired, made-from-scratch dishes; Der Fondue Chessel, where guests can enjoy an authentic fondue experience atop Keystone’s North Peak Mountain; and Keystone Ranch, a steakhouse that utilizes sustainable practices and locally sourced products.

Rates start at $165 through April 2, and include accommodations, free night skiing lift tickets for the entire group on the night of guests’ arrival, free ice skating admission, and 20 percent off ice skate rentals, plus a free yoga or fitness class and a 1-hour complimentary indoor tennis court rental. Time is running out to take advantage of these offers as Keystone Resort’s winter season ends April 10. For more information, call (877) 204-7889 or visit keystoneresort.com.
