Lark Hotels opens 21 Broad, its second Nantucket property, this July.

This renovated, 27-room boutique hotel is ideally located just a few minutes’ walk from the Steamship Authority, a ferry service to Martha’s Vineyard, and local restaurants. 21 Broad offers luxury amenities such as a steam and massage room, a breakfast juice bar serving gluten-free artisan pastries, and unique vitamin C showers, which de-chlorinate the water.

“21 Broad has been the most iconic inn on the entire island for over a century and our goal is to reposition it and make it the most attractive place in which to stay on Nantucket for the next century” says Bruce A. Percelay, owner of both 76 Maine and 21 Broad.

21 Broad follows the mold of all Lark Hotels properties and will feature hip designs throughout the historic building, which dates to 1876. The interiors will feature an “urban meets Nantucket—modern meets Broad Street” feel, with guestrooms offering a white on white palette and pops of bold color; mixed woods; large striking art; and earth-toned linens. Amenities include spa services, a guest lounge with game table, landscaped outdoor courtyard with fire pit, iPads and iPod docking stations, 40-inch TVs, personalized concierge service, complimentary wireless Internet, and guest discounts for online purchases at Vineyard Vines, a local clothing boutique.

This is Lark Hotel’s seventh coastal New England boutique hotel, and is the sister property to 76 Maine, which opened last summer. Rates start at $389 per night during high season and $259 per night during low season. For more information, call (508) 228-4749 or visit 21broadhotel.com.
