Experiential travel company Collective Retreats launched last month, while at the same time announcing three new retreat locations set to open this summer in Sonoma, California; Hudson Valley, New York and Texas Hill Country. Founded by CEO Peter Mack and COO Cristina DeVito, Collective Retreats features a portfolio of unique luxury accommodations in “unspoiled” places that are said to break away from the traditional hotel model by merging five-star luxury with authentic ruggedness. Through curated onsite activities, top-notch dining driven by local ingredients, and personalized concierge service, Collective Retreats aims to connect guests with each destination’s natural surroundings and community.

Collective Retreats is currently operating seasonal retreats in Vail, Colorado (opening in May) and Yellowstone, Montana (opening in June). This summer, three new retreats are set to open in Sonoma, California; Hudson Valley, New York; and Texas Hill Country. Currently, all of Collective Retreats accommodations are in luxury canvas tents, each of which are equipped with high-end amenities including plush beds, a full in-tent bathroom, in-tent massages and dining, and a private deck.

In addition, the onsite team at each retreat handpicks the best regional activities, making it easy for guests to create a personalized itinerary. Offerings range from fly fishing in Yellowstone and horseback riding in Vail to guided wine tastings and cycling tours in Sonoma. Room rates start at $400 per night.
