Collette is offering agent FAMs around the globe, and is reaching out to clients beyond North America with the opening of its fourth worldwide office in Sydney.

Collette is offering the Maritimes Coastal Wonders FAM from April 27 to May 5, 2015, which visits the Canadian Maritimes, and with rates starting at $499 pp twin rate; the 9-day Discover Panama itinerary departs on May 21, starting at $499 pp twin rate; and an 8-day trip to Israel departs on Dec. 2, visiting Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, and the ruins of Jericho, starting at $899 pp twin rate. Agents who book 15 or more passengers on the same air-inclusive tour of equal or higher value within 12 months of the FAMs return, or $100,000 in revenue, will be entitled to a 100 percent rebate on their FAM cost.
New Office
Agents, let your Aussie counterparts know that the company has opened an office in Sydney. Christian Leibl-Cote, v.p. of services and international business, who will be heading the Sydney office, notes that their first goal in the Australian market is to build relationships and trust, while showing who they are and what they offer. “The Australians are some of the best travelers in the world,” he adds. Pointing out that on average they travel 22 to 24 days at a time, spending a good amount of money on escorted tours. “They are a perfect fit for our type of tours.” Tours are now on sale and will begin departing from the Australia region as of May 1, 2015.
“In the late 1980s, he [Dan Sullivan, Collette’s CEO] created our first tour to Australia. We are looking forward to giving the same service to our Australian friends,” says Leibl-Cote.
To get things rolling, Collette is offering its Australian market a $200 tour credit that can be used to purchase any tour, or used for an upgrade.
