Chicago, Malaysia, India and Hong Kong all feature new or in-the-works properties that are just waiting to show off their amenities. Read on to learn where the freshest faces can be found in each location.

Chicago The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago has announced a $110 million investment into the expansion and renovation of the property.

The renovation will occur through three phases, the first of which begins with the construction of a new tower. Set to add 460 new guestrooms including 12 suites and two premium suites, the tower is expected to be completed in mid-2013. Additional work to be completed on the property includes the redesign of Hyatt Regency McCormick Place’s in-house coffee shop, Daily Grind, as well as its fine dining restaurant Shor, both of which will benefit from an expanded seating area, with Daily Grind receiving WiFi Internet access and Shor receiving a larger private dining room.

Features already in place at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place include 800 guestrooms, three restaurants, lobby bar, indoor pool and health club facility. Rates start at $159 per night. For more information, visit mccormickplace.hyatt.com.

Langkawi, Malaysia Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has debuted the Four Points by Sheraton Langkawi Resort.

Less than a mile away from Langkawi International Airport, the Four Points by Sheraton Langkawi features 214 rooms decorated with contemporary style, and featuring wireless high-speed Internet, an infinity pool, The Eatery restaurant, The Lounge, kids’ club and gym.

Four room options available include the Comfort Room, Jr. Suite, Premier Deluxe Suite and 2-bedroom Four Points Suite. In-room amenities for all rooms include lounge furniture, writing desk, LCD flat-screen TV, and bath with separate areas for toilet, tub and rain shower.

Goa, India Now open in the heart of the Calangute strip of north Goa, India, is Park Hotels’ newest five-star luxury boutique property, The Park on Holiday Beach. Conceptualized around Goa’s famous music scene and the relaxed approach that is said to be observed in the area, The Park on Holiday Beach offers 30 guestrooms featuring a relaxed ambiance, decorated in contemporary artwork based on the musicians of Goa.

The property’s location off of the Arabian Sea offers beach and sunset views from the 21 deluxe rooms, five luxury rooms, two jr. suites and two deluxe suites.

Facilities at The Park on Holiday Beach include a 24-hour Love restaurant and Peace Bar, poolside cabanas offering spa treatments, and beginning in May, an Aura spa facility.

Hong Kong The Peninsula Hong Kong is preparing to put its best face forward, as it recently commenced a room enhancement and redesign project aiming to have all 297 of the hotel’s guestrooms transformed by its completion.

Working on one building at a time, the project has initially focused on The Peninsula Tower, to be reopened in August 2012, and will later focus on the original building, to be completed by early-2013.

Newly enhanced rooms will follow Peninsula standards, including a luxurious yet residential feel with classic modern and simple elegance.
