Palms Casino Resort

The Palms, Las Vegas, is taking some of its casino winnings—$50 million worth—and investing in a transformation that’ll make accommodations more luxurious, add new culinary options and redesign gaming spaces.

All 428 rooms and suites in The Palms Tower will be remodeled to show off a chic, modern style, with warm wood tones, luxurious velvets and custom artwork. Remodeled rooms are expected to be available for booking by September.

The Mexican fare of Garduno’s will be replaced by Heraea, a sports-themed restaurant and lounge that will be ready before the end of the year, while the Bistro Buffet will offer a wider array of dining options and two new outlets will be added to The Eatery.

The 95,000-sq.-ft. casino floor will be reconfigured—with the addition of 250 more slot machines—to improve flow and ambiance, and nightlife options are being reconsidered as well, with an announcement to come shortly.

Advertised rates through the summer start at $59, based on a 2-night stay. For more information, call (866) PALMS-RES or visit palms.com.
