The Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables, formerly The Westin Colonnade, Coral Gables, recently joined Starwood Hotel & Resorts’ portfolio and completed an $18 million renovation.

The 157-guestroom property is located on the site of The Colonnade Building that was built in the 1920s by Coral Gables founder George Merrick. The property features vaulted ceilings and a grand staircase in the lobby, as well as a lobby bar; the Aragon Cafe; and a game room with a pool table, shuffleboard, and oversized TVs, plus a bar. Guestrooms were also revamped to showcase the property’s elegance with modern touches such as wood floors, stainless steel pedestal beds, sectional sofas, and bronze and smoked-glass desks.

Guests can take in a variety of experiences while on-property, ranging from wellness and mixology classes  to inspirational workshops on history and sports, as well as dance lessons, game watch parties, and historical bike tours of Coral Gables. The property’s wellness programming includes a monthly rooftop yoga class followed by a sunset meditation ritual and tea tasting, as well as monthly 30-minute Aquacycle classes paired with a 30-minute matbox Pilates class.
