The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Introduces New Programs

written by | Posted on December 12th, 2012

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Arizona is launching two new programs offering children a new kind of adventure at the resort.

The first is the addition of In-Room Camping, giving children the chance to camp indoors with tent delivery to the  guestroom, tent set-up, a s’mores kit, an educational book about Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, and a tortoise stuffed animal. Guests can have one tent in a guestroom or two in a suite. Second, The Ritz-Carlton has created a Junior Rangers program to go along with its Dove Mountain Rangers program, which offers activities for 5- to 12-year-olds. Children who complete the Dove Mountain Rangers program can go on to the Junior Rangers program on their next stay, up until age 12, giving them privileges and perks at the resort. They’ll have the chance to “shadow” actual Dove Mountain Rangers and look after the desert tortoises at the resort.

Rates start at $199 per night, and in-room camping is $99 for the tent for the whole stay. For more information, call (800) 241-3333 or visit ritzcarlton.com.
