Starwood Opens Westin Property in Southwest Florida

The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, previously The Resort at MarinaVillage, has opened in Tarpon Point in southwest Florida, offering guests Westin’s signature programs.

The property, which is part of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts portfolio, overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, the Caloosahatchee River and the San Carlos Bay. It features 263 over-sized rooms and suites. In addition, the resort has a lagoon-style outdoor pool; clay tennis courts, an amphitheater, and a marina with watersports, cruises and fishing; and a newly renovated WestinWORKOUT fitness studio.

The resort will also undergo further renovations and offer a new Westin Kids Club and convert the current 4,000-sq.-ft. spa into a Heavenly Spa by Westin.

Rates start at $259 per night and the Sunsational Savings promotion is available now through Dec. 31, 2013. Guests booking with the opening offer will also receive every fourth night free, a $100 food and beverage credit, and a room upgrade, upon availability. For more information, visit westin.com.
