Hilton HHonors members staying at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando can check into the five-star Hilton Worldwide Portfolio hotel via their smartphones, thanks to a new feature of the Hilton HHonors app. The Digital Key allows guests to skip the lines at the check-in desk and securely access their guest room when they select their desired room through the Hilton HHonors app the prior to arrival, noting they want to participate in the Digital Key program. Once a guest’s room is ready, they can go onto the app and press the virtual “unlock” button to enter their room. In addition to the keyless entry system, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando also features luxury amenities such as the Waldorf Astoria Spa, which unveiled a new menu of services that use locally sourced ingredients; an 18-hole golf course created by golf course architect Rees Jones; and the WA Kids Club, plus 17 dining options that range from its signature Bull & Bear restaurant and casual dining at poolside Aquamarine restaurant to newly renovated Myth Bar in the lobby.
