Tucson’s Westin La Paloma Receives Rejuvenation

The Westin La Paloma, a luxury resort and spa in Tucson, is in the process of receiving a $30 million resort-wide rejuvenation.

The rejuvenation process will modernize and refresh all 487 guestrooms, as well as the La Paloma Country Club’s fitness center, the tennis courts and golf course.

Guestrooms will be given luxurious touches like Westin Heavenly Beds with headboards incorporated with LED technology and adjustable reading lights, while bathrooms will feature updates like expanded walk-in showers with Westin Heavenly Rain Forest Showerheads and deep-soaking bathtubs.

The remodeled fitness center at La Paloma Country Club features cardio and strength training equipment and scheduled classes for guests and country club members. The country club tennis courts will be resurfaced with the True Bounce Resurfacing System, estimated to be completed by Nov. 1. The 27 holes of the La Paloma Country Club’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Design have been rejuvenated in a $600,000 project. The bunkers on the three courses now have white sand imported from San Juan Capistrano, California, and refreshed green surfaces covered in lush mini verde Bermuda grass from Casa Grande, Arizona.

The process will be done in phases, with all guestrooms scheduled to be completed by Dec. 31. For more information, call (800) 937-8461 or visit westinlapalomaresort.com.
