Australia’s private island resort located by the Great Barrier Reef, One&Only Hayman Island, reopens on July 1 after a multimillion-dollar refurbishment.

The resort offers revamped guestrooms, suites, villas, and penthouses set among expansive pools, lush gardens, and more than a mile of white sand beaches. The newly unveiled Pool Wing has been transformed to an all-suite area overlooking the pool with views of the Coral Sea. The Pool Wing Suites provide separate living and dining areas, spacious decks with pool-level suites offering direct swim-out access. The Hayman Wing offers guestrooms, most of which have ocean views, as well as 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom Penthouse Residences, including one designed by the fashion designer, Diane Von Furstenberg. Guests who prefer to be directly on the beach can stay at the Beach Villas or the freestanding private Beach House. The Beach Villas offer private pools, and direct access to One&Only Hayman Beach, but can also accommodate larger groups in the Retreat Rooms, which are located directly behind the villas.

The Hayman Pool has been renewed with private cabanas and daybeds, as well as offering all-day dining at the On the Rocks restaurant and bar. The new Aquazure Pool, also features cabanas and an infinity-edge pool with zero entry for children. The One&Only Hayman Island’s restaurant and bars have also undergone thorough refurbishments, offering new interiors and dining experiences throughout the resort. The Spa at Hayman Island features a Mani:Pedi Cure studio; the resort also has a salon and fitness center on property. Guests of the resort can enjoy personalized Bodyism programs including consultations, fitness tests, and goal-making with achievable results for the end of their stay.
