The Stage is Set for Yeosu, South Korea

Expo 2012: Yeosu Korea is staged and set to take place from May 12-Aug. 12 in the bay city of Yeosu, South Korea, where guests will learn and discover all the city has to offer through a theme titled The Living Ocean and Coast.

Featured at the Expo site will be an aquarium, highlighting the necessity for conservation of bio-diversity; the Korea Pavilion, which unveils the country’s hope of becoming a leading maritime nation through expansive marine knowledge and technology; the Big-O, a waterfront area for large-scale events and performances; and the Sky Tower, which transformed a pair of abandoned silos into a beautiful and musical structure that marks the site’s opening and closing daily. Single-day tickets are currently discounted 5 percent through April 30, with prices of $15.80 for children and seniors, $21 for youth, and $27.65 for adults.
