Sunscape Resorts & Spas, the family-friendly AMResorts brand, will open its first property in Jamaica—Sunscape Montego Bay—in late 2015. This is AMResorts’ third property on the island.
Starting May 2015, AMResorts will begin the enhancements to the property, however guests will still be able to enjoy the resort during the renovations. AMResorts will take over the operations starting Aug. 1, 2015, until then the property will remain under Sunset Beach Resort, Spa and Water Park, and the Oasis Sunset name. It will be officially rebranded in late 2015. The 430-room property features a water park, and an onsite casino. Guest accommodations, facilities and amenities will be renovated to offer AMResorts’ signature Unlimited-Fun concept.
