The islands have received increased airlift options: VI Airlink introduced a new flight connecting with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways flights to offer service from Antigua to the BVI two days a week (Fridays and Saturdays); LIAT announced daily flights between Tortola and San Juan, Puerto Rico. This new service provides same day interline connections to New York, Newark, and Orlando on JetBlue and United Airlines.

The Necker Cup, a 6-day Pro-Am Tennis event on Necker Island, takes place Nov. 28-Dec. 3, 2015. This year, the second annual BVI Food Fete, highlighting the flavors of the British Virgin Islands cuisine, will feature different events each week throughout the month of November.
