Royal Caribbean International’s Icon of the Seas continues making waves—and it hasn’t even left the shipyard yet. But rest assured, when it departs on its inaugural sailing on January 27, 2024, it will be with more wow factors than any other vessel in RCI’s fleet.

In addition to its already spectacular amenities, Icon of the Seas is preparing a mouth-watering lineup of eateries that would rival the offer of a small metropolis. It will, in fact, have more than 20 new and signature dining venues, ranging from swanky to grab-and-go to kid-friendly and everything in between.

Cruising on Icon of the Seas is No Time to Diet

This is one place where your clients’ waistlines are guaranteed to get a workout. (Luckily, the ship comes with a complete wellness and fitness offer to keep them from expanding too much.)

Standouts among the lengthy list of new venues are the extravagant Empire Supper Club serving eight-course meals, the AquaDome Market (the brand’s first Food Hall), the Celebration Table (an intimate, 12-seat experience with a view of the AquaDome), Surfside Eatery (an all-day buffet ideal for families serving breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Izumi in the Park, an all-day restaurant window so cruise-goers can pop by and pick up their favorite sushi and other goodies without having to wait for a table. The menus on tap are global, with flavors from Italy, Japan, Mexico and more.

“The experiences had over great food are at the heart of so many shared memories that we could all use more of in our day-to-day. We’ve designed Icon of the Seas to offer every guest, no matter their tastes, age and mood or the occasion, a variety of ways they can easily make those moments their way every day while on vacation,” said Linken D’Souza, vice president, food and beverage, Royal Caribbean International, in a press statement. “If vacationers want to stick to their favorites, like kids and their chicken tenders, or mix it up every night and try new flavors, more than 20 experiences across Icon’s eight neighborhoods make that possible—without compromise—more than ever.”

With so many attractions and things to do onboard, it’s good to know your clients will never go hungry after working up an appetite—no matter what time of the day or night or what neighborhood they might find themselves in (remember, there are eight of those onboard.) Picky little palates? Not a problem: with this variety of restaurants, there’s a dish and a menu for each and every kid, parent or relative on the trip.

Starting in January 2024, Icon of the Seas will sail from Miami year-round on 7-night adventures to the Eastern and Western Caribbean islands and the line’s Perfect Day at CocoCay.
