In honor of Veterans Day, Carnival Cruise Line and MSC Cruises are offering cruise discounts for active and retired military service members.
During November, Carnival Cruise Line is providing active and retired military personnel with a $50 onboard credit per cabin, a complimentary two-category upgrade, and a 50 percent reduced deposit, all of which can be combined with Carnival’s pre-existing military rates. In addition, guests who qualify for the promotion can book up to two additional staterooms with the same bonuses and pricing. The promotion can be booked through Nov. 14, 2016, and is available on a wide range of 3- to 15-day cruises departing between January 2017 and April 2018. This promotion is valid for individual bookings only. In order to qualify for the discounts, military personnel must provide proof of service and be on the actual sailing. For more information, call (800) 764-7419 or visit carnival.com.
In addition, MSC Cruises is saying thanks to our troops by extending military-friendly discounts, including a 10 percent or more discount on Balcony, Suite and MSC Yacht Club staterooms and a 5 percent or more discount off Interior and Ocean View staterooms for all retired and active U.S. military personnel, spouses, parents, parents-in-law, and dependent personnel. As an added bonus, MSC Cruises does not limit the number of rooms that the military can reserve during their vacation, so all their friends and family they are traveling with can receive the same discount, plus children 11 and under sail for free as the third and fourth guest in a stateroom with two adults. If a member of the military can no longer travel due to redeployment or revocation of leave, MSC Cruises will issue a full cruise credit for a future sail date.
