IsramWorld and its subsidiary europe too have announced they are suspending tours to the Russian Federation following the Russian government’s anti-gay declarations.

“In the 21st century, we cannot turn a blind eye to a circumstance whereby our clients’ welfare can be jeopardized by who they are, or who they might appear to be,” says President and CEO, A. Ady Gelber, “or, even more ominously, by their purposefully or inadvertently engaging in what the Russian government characterizes as the ‘propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations.'”

Gelber says the company won’t accept new bookings to Russia until the Russian Federation stops discriminating against gay citizens and travelers. Travelers who are already booked on a trip to Russia can opt to cancel without penalty or sign a “waiver of responsibility” if they would like to continue on the trip.
