Travel Professionals Earn the Chance to Book a Free Night Through Nov. 14

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) announced a new resorts campaign designed to educate travel professionals on the more than 200 resorts in Starwood’s global portfolio. Starwood invites travel professionals to “Explore Destinations, Experience Luxury, Earn Rewards” at starwoodpro.com. After viewing a visually stunning, four-minute video that focuses on the company’s dynamic resort portfolio and the diversity of customers and travel options the resort portfolio can satisfy, travel professionals will earn a second night free when booking one resort night at the low STARPRO travel professional rate. The new Starwood Resorts module is available for viewing through Oct. 14. Hotel reservations must be booked via the travel professional’s exclusive ProLearning page by Dec. 31, but can be used for travel from Dec. 1, 2012, through Dec. 31, 2013.

“Starwood’s robust resorts portfolio spans the globe and includes many award-winning hotels in sought-after destinations, where guests can enjoy a range of exceptional experiences including golf, spa, ski, romance, family vacations or island escapes,” says Chris Austin, vice president, global retail leisure and luxury sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “We want our partners in travel to understand all the options we provide their customers, and we want our travel professional partners to experience it for themselves. We hope to welcome thousands of travel professionals to our resorts in the coming year as a result of this promotion.”

Starwood’s resorts portfolio includes more than 200 properties in 52 countries under the St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Westin, and Four Points by Sheraton brands. Experiences range from The St. Regis Princeville Resort, Kauai, to the Westin Los Cabos, Mexico, the Le Meridien Abu Dhabi and the Sheraton Fiji Resort.
