Just as lauded is the La Samanna Spa with its indoor/outdoor tropical garden treatment rooms complemented by soothing water fountains and a Pilates studio. Here, guests will find nine treatment rooms and European-trained therapists who pamper with a wide variety of body treatments and facials.

Other activities include tennis on three recently renovated championship courts, two freshwater swimming pools, snorkeling, scuba, water-skiing, kayaking, wave runners, deep-sea fishing and sailboat rentals.

The starting rate is $995 sgl/dbl, per night, and are inclusive of a daily buffet breakfast in the Restaurant, snorkeling, windsurfing, use of tennis courts and fitness pavilion.

Anguilla

Viceroy Anguilla Resort & Residences sits along 3,200 ft. of beachfront and bluff-top on Meads and Barnes bays on the island’s northwest shores. The 35-acre property itself is only a few years old, opening in phases starting in 2009 through 2010. It is an ideal option for multigenerational family groups, with 166 accommodations including 4- and 5-bedroom villas; 3- to 4-bedroom townhomes; and resort residences that are studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units. Privacy is key here with villas and townhomes offering individual infinity pools.

Personal service sets the property apart, with the general manager or resort manager making it a point to try and meet each guest during their stay, says Brent Hall, associate director of sales.

“We are unique because our multi-bedroom accommodations allow us to host large family or multi-generational vacations, but our smaller, more intimate accommodations coupled with the adults-only pool make us ideal for couples,” says Hall.

Though the property has three restaurants and two lounges, a unique In-Room Dining and Chef’s Program is available for guests with 2-bedroom suites with full kitchens or larger units. Meals are prepared and served en-suite so guests can enjoy personal and private service. Those who want to prepare their own meals can have their kitchens stocked exactly to their specifications.

Adding to the personal experience are such recent enhancements as an expanded wellness and fitness center, a new tennis pavilion and an upgraded kids’ club. Private dining can be set up on a new cliff-top deck off of the pool area. During the day, guests can lounge on new day beds and chaises, and at night the hotspot transforms into a scenic place for private dining and events. In addition to the deck, the cabanas at the Aleta pool are newly revamped with all the amenities your luxury clients can’t live without. Call for rates.

Barbados

Sandy Lane, which sits along 1,000 ft. of white, coral-sand beach on the western coast of Barbados, also caters to the discerning guest, including families and those seeking a luxury romantic retreat, says Eric R. Mapp, resident manager.

No need to worry about such mundane must-dos as packing and unpacking here, this is a complimentary service done for all guests. And while guests are at the beach, personalized “life is good” services include reserved seating (forget having to save the chaise longue with a towel), refreshing cold towels, and even sunglass cleaning and Evian misting to keep guests cool.

On-property offerings are all the luxury clientele would crave, including three golf courses, two designed by Tom Fazio, as well as a full-service 47,000-sq.-ft. spa with 14 VIP personalized suites. There is also a Tennis Club with nine floodlit tennis courts and watersports to enjoy. Families can drop off their kids at The Treehouse Club for supervised activities and The Den for teen time fun.

There are two main restaurants overlooking the Caribbean Sea, as well as the Spa Cafe and The Country Club Restaurant at the golf courses. Afternoon tea is also served daily as part of the pampering experience.

Guests can stay in one of the 112 hotel rooms and suites or go all out in the 5-bedroom private villa. Making it easy to sell this extraordinary experience, the property has launched its Summer Experiences for 2012, valid April 16 through Oct. 16. The six offered packages focus on the key markets of families and romance, as well as those who seek golf, spa and to take advantage of the property’s gourmet fine dining.

The Revel in Paradise package, for example, includes accommodations, full breakfast, roundtrip transfers, and unlimited non-motorized watersports, bottle of champagne upon arrival, one candlelight dinner for two, one catamaran cruise for two and a spa voucher for $100 pp or one round of golf pp. Rates start from $6,180 for five nights (pay for four) and $12,360 for 10 nights (pay for eight.)
