It’s always a good time for a Caribbean vacation, especially when your client bookings give you a little extra.

Bermuda To show its appreciation to travel agents, The Reefs in Bermuda is increasing the travel agent commission to 15 percent effective immediately. The increased commission is available on all new bookings, including the luxurious 2- and 3-bedroom Club Suites and the popular “limited availability” promotions available online.

The property is also inviting travel agents to experience the resort first-hand with a special rate of 25 percent off daily rates (non-commissionable) for the first three nights of a stay. The offer is available from September 2011 through April 2012. Daily rates at The Reefs include oceanview accommodations for two, daily full-service breakfast, afternoon tea and gourmet dinner nightly.

Curaçao During September and October, Curaçao is partnering with American Airlines, Insel Air and top hotels island-wide to offer deeply discounted rates for travel agents during Travel Agent Appreciation Season.

Travel agents can book a roundtrip flight with American Airlines starting from $189 from anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada, or roundtrip flights with Insel Air offering $180 on fares from Charlotte, NC. What’s more, hotels across the island are showing their appreciation as well, with rates starting from as low as $62.

Participating hotels include the Avila Hotel ($100), Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort ($104), Kontiki Dive and Beach Resort ($99), Breezes Curaçao Resort Spa & Casino ($62) and Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort, Spa & Marina ($89), among others.

Jamaica Sunset Resorts, the trio of all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, is offering travel agent FAM rates for Sunset Beach Resort, Spa & Waterpark in Montego Bay and Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort, Spa & Conference Center in Ocho Rios valid through Dec. 22. Rates start at $49 pp dbl per night.
