Avoya Travel has announced details of its 2018 annual conference, which will take place on both land and sea, in partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line.

The event will take place in Long Beach, California, and will serve as a forum for the travel marketing and technology company to bring together independent agencies in its network with preferred supplier partners and Avoya support staff for education, networking and celebration. The land component of the conference will take place May 22–25, 2018, with a buyout of the Hotel Maya, Hilton Hotels’ newly renovated Long Beach oceanfront property. Afterwards, independent agencies will board Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Bliss for an invitation-only inaugural preview cruise from May 25–27.

The conference program will focus on new developments that will help deliver the best experiences to customers, as well as ways for independent agencies to build their sales, and will include evening events such as the Chairman’s Gala. New for 2018, Avoya will offer additional educational programs at a Pre-Conference Day that will include sessions designed for the growing number of new-to-travel independent agency owners, as well as supplier one-on-one meetings and peer-to-peer best practice sharing.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the elite independent agencies in the Avoya Network to be among the first travel professionals to experience our newest and most incredible ship, Norwegian Bliss,” said Camille Olivere, senior v.p., sales for Norwegian Cruise Line in a press release. “Norwegian Cruise Line shares a passion with Avoya Travel for innovation in travel and providing our mutual guests with exceptional cruise vacation experiences, so we’re honored to be their Annual Conference partner once again.”

Registration for the conference is now open. Details about programing, keynote speakers, and events will be announced soon. For more information, visit avoyatravel.com.
